~ Almost Famous ~
Feeling totally too lazy to get a taxi, I decided to drive to Paragon instead. I was supposed to meet Vanz, who came back from Miami for a month or so and is going back on Saturday night, for lunch at Ootoya. By the time I finished filling up the gasohol 95 for my (another) baby, it was around 11.30 am. I speeded fast enough that if my dad was sitting in the car... he would go like "SLOW DOWN!" (then again he says that when I drive at around 80 km/hr). It was great until I had to make a uturn and there was a bit of traffic. To understand the situation fully, I have drawn a diagram with my limited computer skill. The result is below.

I saw a little space left between a greyish black car and the traffic island, so I tried to squeeze my not-so-small baby between the limited space. I should have listened to dad about "if you're not sure, don't go through with it" because, according to him, driving is not like other decisions in life where you can take risks. For once, he's right! I scrape the freaking car. Being totally scared and an little b*tch, I speeded off as fast as I could hoping to get away from the guy. But... believe it or not! karma does exist... I speeded off to find that the traffic light just turned red. Then I heard a knock, and the guy parked his car next to my car to talk to me. He looked totally pissed off (and he has every reason on this planet to be) and like he was ready to kill me. The scratch wasn't bad at all and he let me go eventually after millions of "kor tod ka pee" (sorry). He sort of just got in the car and drive looking pissed. I really ruined his day. :( I'm sorry. I also shouldn't have run, and should have listened to dad more. I'm really sorry for being careless and grateful for what the kind driver did (letting me go without any more problem). Thank god the policemen (aka Ping Pong heads) didn't arrest me. I would have gotten into a lot of troubles as I don't have the license yet. :P
Everything went well. The lunch, the talk, the shopping and etc that us girls did at Siam. It was time to go, and I agreed to send Kitz to her car at Emporium. I drove her there, and she almost had a heart attack. I don't know why, but we are pretty much the same kind of driver... that is the dangerous driver. Turning into Sukhumvit 24 from (if I'm not wrong) pharam 4 road, I was already bored of the traffic. I drove pass the intersection, and it happened. Something that almost made me famous happened. What happened was that this construction worker ran across the road tripping one of the foot of the motorbike parked waiting to drive his way. This worker just fell flat on his tummy when I was driving fast. Here's a not-so-clear diagram to show it. Spot 1 is where he tripped over, and spot 2 is where he finally fell flat on his tummy... right in front of my car!

If I didn't press the break hard enough, I would have run him over and end up on the front page of the tomorrow newspepers. Think again... I actually had a chance to be recognized! :P Anyway, even when I managed to break my car, the car behind me would have crashed into my car if he/she came fast enough. Lesson learnt: don't be stupid to run across a busy road & it's never bad to wait. :)
Nothing else happened later in the evening apart from getting lost and a nice experience with Kitz and her zit doctor. :P I finally made it home safely with all my organs in their right places. :) Thank god! :) Mims... if you're reading this, don't tell your parents, my parents or anyone in the family, I still wanna drive around myself. :P
Cactus status: Probably outside at the front steps. Yes... my bad... I should have taken my baby inside with me.
