~ Hell No! ~

After weeks of Blame Society's Chad Vader, sleepless nights with the Sims 2 and its expansion packs, swollen feet from walking on over 2.5 inch heels and countless of terrifying job interviews (which some could be described more as interrogations), I decided to get in touch with the world. However, that's not the point of the post today. It's actually about a very weird phone call from my ex's mum. I didn't answer the phone because I was enjoying my time in my bed with my stinky blue blanky I call "Stinky" (of course) when she called. Unfortunately, my mum wasn't as lucky. She answered the phone and had a very bizarre conversation with the lady which went something like this...

the lady: Hello. May I speak to Bua, please?
mummy: She's still in bed.
the lady: Who's this?
mummy: Oh, this is Bua's mum. Who's this?
the lady: This is K's mum. Has K ever been to your house?
mummy: *puzzled by the question* No. I have never seen him before. Has Bua been to your house?
the lady: No. Do you know that K and Bua has been dating since they were 16 or 17? (what!!!? bullshit! I didn't know him then and I was dating someone else... duh!) K really loves Bua, and I would like them to get married after K is done with the monkhood. (what!!!? hell no!)
mummy: Pardon?
the lady: Well, I'm offering a few hundred thousands. *talking about the dowry*
mummy: Maybe after K is done with the monkhood, he would change his mind about the marriage. Until then, we should leave it up to them. ..... blah blah blah *finally put the phone down and came blasting through my door for some kind of explanation (which, of course, is something I didn't have. Lol :P)*

K's mum... seriously. I haven't talked to your son in years and you want me to marry him? Who in the right mind would do that? I'm not even thinking about any serious relationship right now... so let alone marriage. Although it is in a way a compliment, I don't think I want anymore of the call. This was enough to send my whole family into this unstoppable panic. So my answer to this absurd proposal is "HELL NO!". Pheww! That was close.

Apart from the call, my life has been pretty boring. Oh yes! Not entirely boring. My graduation is coming up in a few weeks time. Anyone would like to come take pics with me? Either come on 30th June (group photo day) or 13th July (graduation day). Let me know and I'll tell you where to find me. :) Righty! Off I go reading Stephen King's "Gerald's Game".
